Don't know if you knew, I recently became a US citizen last month. I just want to let you know that I appreciate people like you who stick your neck out for the rest of us. Sometimes I wonder if half of us deserve it...we're so disassociated from the reality of what war is. Like the people who stick those stupid "support your troops" ribbon stickers on their cars. I think I wrote about it in my diary once cuz it did piss me off, but I remember saying that people should show their support by writing soldier's letters or something with more of an actual impact. Eh, whatever... you can lead a horse to water, right?
