"Fuck, I liked this uniform. Could you grab a medic for me?"
I think I am just about healed up now. In a few days I can head back to base.
I will be kind of nice to be back there. But I think I will put in my walking papers. It’s about time I actually make something of myself. I sure as hell don’t want to be a "lifer". "Lazy incompetent fuck expecting retirement". I only have a year left to my contract.
Even thought I have been back for awhile. I really didn't try to see that many people. I just kind of got tired explaining where I’ve been. I got dragged to a strip club about a week ago. While we were there, the girls tatter new kept asking me if something was wrong. All I could tell them was that this was not my type of place. Too many people so I couldn't relax.
I wound up dropping about sixty bucks on shots and drinks. Mainly because Tatter is very cheep and I can’t say a to a girl for some reason. I just wanted to get the hell out of there.
When we finally did leave Tatter asks me if he can come over to my place with some girl (can't remember her name).
For some foolish reason I say ya. So I’m sitting at my house with the two. I thought they would do there own thing. But the are apparently set on hang out with me and watching "Cemetery Man" and "Fight Club". I get sick of hanging out with them so I go to my room and hung out with my friend beer. But Tatter can't stop knocking on my door saying, "are you all right, dude"
All I could think to say was "I’d be a whole lot better if you would just let me sleep."
The next day he was asking me why I was being rude. So I asked him to look at it from my point of view. "Oh, shit, my bad." was all.
I wonder why some of my friends are so dumb.
