Thanks for the note and well wishes for my daughter. I loved this poem it has such a deep a meaning I had to read it many times. I am sorry another broken dream came your way, but do not let you stop dreaming. "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of the dream." My kids father our Viet Nam vet who came home to a cold world much like you have, memories haughty the night. It has taken time but he realizes he did what he was "ordered" to do in the name of "freedom." I do hope a day comes you may father a child, my three kids (all his) have often been his life line to sanity. My thoughts are with you. Sandyz

Wow you know that is just amazing. I really admire you for wanting to help care for a child that isn't yours by blood, but you know something? A father is somone that is there for you. He is the person that teaches you to ride a bike, that patches up your boo- boos when you fall off that bike. He is the person that is there for you not just physically but emotionally too. My " dad" was really my step-father but he could not have treated me any better. He always treated me like I was his. When he died, me and my stepsister were referd to as " his daughters" You would make a great dad. good luck with all of it. Remember.. love is all it takes to make a family. blessings , maria
